NeverSkip Privacy Policy

NeverSkip (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a gym accountability app that helps you build a consistent workout habit with your friends. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it’s stored and protected.

1. What we collect

Account information

• Your Apple ID email address (via Sign in with Apple)
• A unique user ID generated by Apple — we never see your Apple password
• A display name you choose within the app

Fitness & activity data

• Gym check-in dates and times
• Workout session duration (in minutes)
• Your streak and weekly consistency percentage
• Whether a check-in was GPS-verified at the gym

Location

• Your GPS location — only when you choose to verify a gym check-in
• Location is used solely to confirm you are at a gym at the time of check-in
• We do not track your location in the background or at any other time

Photos

• Gym photos you voluntarily take or select as proof of a check-in
• A profile photo you optionally set
• Photos are stored on our servers and linked to your circle

Contacts (optional)

• If you choose to invite friends via the “Invite from Contacts” feature, we temporarily read your contacts to display names and phone numbers
• We do not store, upload, or share your contacts — they are only used locally to display invite options

Circle data

• Your circle name, invite code, and membership
• Your leaderboard ranking and consistency stats, visible to other circle members
• Reactions and activity visible to your circle

2. How we use your data

• To show your check-in streak, consistency, and ranking to you and your circle
• To send gym reminder notifications at the time you set
• To verify gym attendance when you enable GPS check-in
• To sync your data across devices so you never lose your streak
• To process subscription payments (handled entirely by Apple)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data sharing

We share data only in these limited cases:

• With your circle: Your name, streak, consistency percentage, and check-in photos are visible to other members of your accountability circle
• With Supabase: As our database and authentication provider
• With RevenueCat: Your user ID and subscription status, for managing your premium access
• With Apple: Sign-in and payment processing

We do not share your data with any other third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

5. Children’s privacy

NeverSkip is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Your rights

• Access: You can view all your data within the app
• Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
• Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data
• Opt-out of notifications: Disable in iOS Settings → NeverSkip → Notifications at any time

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your personal data from our systems. Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics may be retained longer.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of NeverSkip after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
